I'm in so much pain
Cuz what I want
And what I think I need...
Has so much distance...
In between.

I really didn't see pain
When I first met you
I didn't feel an ending
When I laid eyes on you
I felt joy and hope
And stick-to-it-ness.
Really
I felt forever
When I looked at you
It had me scared
I almost ran away
I definitly pushed you away
Cuz it was there
In you.

But now,
I'm in so much pain
Cuz what I want
And what I think I need...
Has so much distance...
In between.
