Book: Castle View

While you were asleep
  I fed the kids
  And walked the dog
While you were asleep
  I paid some bills
  And made some calls
When you go to lay you head
  Upon your bed
  My evening has just begun
When my tired eyes
  Are allowed to close
  Your alarm screams seven ten
While you eat crumb cakes and tea at 4PM
  My stomach growls
  It time for brunch
When I'm making chicken
  You try to make love
On the phone 6 hours away
I feel guilty
  That I am sleeping
  While you are awake
I feel envy
That your work day is over
  When mine has jsut begun
This time delay
  This continental romance
Has got me in a tilt a whirl
Cuz while you were sleeping
  I fell in love
  Deeper with you.

Deb:
How true this is.Sometimes to make things work there might be some challenges-but challenges are there to overcome. For love can be stronger than any obstacle in its way-it can push aways things that are believed unpushable-nothing can overcome-can defeat the feeling of love if we don't let it. This is a very thought provoking and well written poem Deb. Thank you for sharing. Please take care and have a very beautiful and safe weekend.

Rregards,
Dave Richardson
