2003-02-13 The Ride

Book: Castle View

You squeeze me in a crush of hellos
Your masculine strength
is in your welcoming embrace.
You hold me so firm
Kiss me so ardent
That I feel you pull me in
And out
through your backbone.
So close are we
Yet I lay in the glow of our love
And feel only me.
I don't feel I belong
To you.

We decide (in our mature wisdom)
Its because we are so un-dependent
On others
So stand alone.
Not needy
On another for life support
So past the point of
Not breathing
No longer breeding
No longer building
As we as worker ants in our youth
Did.

Where then does it head
Where does the going forward begin
Or end
There is no goal? Then its just
The ride
And nothing more
And I'm just a station
That you watch through your window
Slowly or quickly

You express exact feelings that develop in relationship. I guess in spite of love, the tender part remain under cover in man. In general man is more manipulative(enjoying feathers in cap at the same time never wanting to give up a secured relationship)than the woman in love. Perhaps!
