Stars

The starry dreams we had

Blew away, in this valentine.

And our reality

Stung sweeter than we'd dreamt.

Take away, all this romance,

And baby I'll be gone.

Take away what I feel for you,

Its like I'd never been born.

This night may never end

But Iā€™d send away the sunsets;

And embrace the moon with open arms

And love you with no regrets.

I'd steal this sky above us

And run like the dreamers before me,

And Pack your bags with my lonely hands,

If you'd only try to be happy.

And I'd repay you for every star

From my eyes to your lips,

I'd path our way with the moonlight

And crown you with this kiss.

You have a captivating way with words. Beautifully crafted and effortlessly delivered, with a hint of tragic romance.
I really did love this

This is such a cute poem, I really like it. My favorite part is where you promised to steal the sky, my favorite poem I've read in awhile.
