watered down coffe drips
from a cracked pot
that is slowly leaking
the puddle stats to form
and i wonder what happend
in all the world this coffee seems
to want to stay together
slowly but surely
all the watery substace will come togeter
and the singlular purpose will not be known
where would it have flown next
down the counter into the drain
or would it just dry and stain
leaving only the memory of its being
the full potential of this pot
will never be known
as it is wiped
from the counter
and wiped from existance
a little here
a little there
but it will never
pull together at the bottom of the trash
as it soaks into the other products
that we dispose of in this 7-11 world.
