I stay up at night thinking of you
Remembering us and the things we use to do
Hearing your laughter, seeing you smile
Wishing to see you, if only for a while
I would fall asleep with you on my mind
And dream of a love, a love divine
Wake in the morning in total dismay
Knowing for sure I won’t see you today
Then I recall how wonderful I felt
The night before, in yours arms I melt
Though a dream, to me it’s real
There are no explanation why this love I feel
To you I know it doesn’t matter at all
Whether I’m standing, sitting or whether I fall
I know it doesn’t matter which words I say
Your love for me won’t change anyway
So in my dreams we’ll always be together
Today, tomorrow and I’m sure forever
