The Most Important

The important things we do not see

Cause most we do not know

And if we knew what it would be

How much difference would we show?



What if you knew someday you’ll die

From the bullet of a gun?

Would you sit and wonder why

Or go out and have more fun?



Suppose you were told in a dream

Tonight is your last night?

Would you jump up and start to scream

Or stay asleep waiting for daylight?



And if you could come back to today

Knowing your love won’t be here tomorrow

What would you do or what would you say

To try and ease your sorrow?



The important thing we should know

Is trying and making a difference

For if we sit and go with the flow

Who would be given the preference?



But if we live today for the next

Tomorrow will be seen from a distance

So give your love, though complex

And receive it without resistance



And let the one you choose beside you

Be the one you love

Letting all your love shines right through

Until you are taking above
