Twist the truth and make our fairytale love

into a bitter nightmare of hate

And I,

will allow what I thought was real

to echo through my mind,

and in time,

slowly die



Lie to yourself, and everyone else

And maybe someday,

Perhaps in a bad way,

You’ll have to face,

In a different place…the truth

and you will sweat, with regret…the verdict



Poison the well, with water from hell

don’t hesitate

to decimate

heavens rain

from above

kill our love

as well…with pain



it won’t matter now

seems easy somehow

for you

to gently sleep in peace



or that I will lie awake and pray

that this will someday go away

and still… to my utter dismay

it’s true…I love you
