A walk in the rain

As I take a walk

in the gentle spring rain

I remember to taste the nuance

The ambiance of the sound of droplets

Ring true to the puddle

Reminds me of that of our love

Blends and disappears

Unselfish leaves on the trees

Compile more than their share

Of the rain

Reminds me of myself

For I’ve accrued the tears

All of the wealth

Of our loves pain

Yet let a single flower

Stand-alone

In the betterment

From the drops of rain

Let me too survive this shower

Of our loves remaining pain

Dennis, SOOOO longing, yet hopeful & optimistic! Let your friends and your faith act as an umberella for you in these times of stormy weather! I know that you do! Beautiful writing!
