Whimsical days and starlit nights

Combine to arrange

My childhood memories delight

Close my eyes, and I’m there, at this instant



Remember the smell

Of the spring rain, long ago

How I loved that smell

Close my eyes, and relive it as though

I’m there… at this instant



Moonbeams shined

Star twinkled and danced

Fireflies waltzed to their own beat and time

Magical moments of hearts entwined

Singing their song of romance, and loves chance

Close my eyes, and I’m there, at this instant



Holding hands walking through the park

While dragonflies mating calls, echoed before dark

A gentle breeze, combined with the scent of the trees

To sing like a dove, of summer love,

Close my eyes, and I’m there, at this instant



Quiet of the snowfall, serves to remind

Smiles while skating, on frozen pond

Sneaked glances, at happiness dances

Frozen memories, of a different space and time

Close my eyes, and I’m there, at this instant



Echoes the memories, they always stir

Favorite memories, of the way we were

Blow like gentle winds, in my mind

Like sands in the hourglass, they pass through time

Close my eyes, and I’m there, at this instant



Magical moments, and heavenly scents

Come back to me, quietly, as the snowfalls outside

Hearts danced, music enhanced

In my heart, they will always reside

Close my eyes, and I’m there, …at this instant
