Never leave me, LORD

for I am but dust without you

that blows in the wind, with no direction

Following the crooked paths of this wicked world

My God

I have found no greater love besides you

I have been trampled by this world 

and left to perish in the pit of despair

But because of your grace and mercy

you reached out your mighty right hand to save me 

From the pit you breathed life into me LORD

Never leave me, LORD

for without you

I am like the dead pretending to be alive.
