I wish I could just go away

Go away where I can’t hear any voices



I wish I could go away

Away to a place where there is no pain



I wish I could go away where no one is around

Go away to a place where there is no sound

Of the memories that are always loud in this mind



I just wish I could go away

To a place where only the sun takes

Drying the tears of the day

That are always on this face

To a place where no one is bothering me today



I wish there was a place where the wind was so strong

That it would just take me into the skies

Somewhere else than here, where I don’t belong



So here is to a place that I imagine in this mind

Here’s to a place I hope to see in time

Here’s to a place that is far beyond anyone’s reach

The only way to get there is to pass on for eternity

To go up into the skies somewhere else than here

Just somewhere else because I know I don’t belong here
