I feel so consumed with guilt
I fell into this trap again
All I want is to be faithful
I want to fall in love with you again
I can't imagine not making it to heaven
I can't imagine living without you
I can't imagine turning on you
I can't imagine not being able to hug you
The most precious gift I received was coming to know you
the love and compassion you have astounds me
You keep on forgiving when we ask
at the flick of a switch you are here for me
even when I turned my back
you are still here, no matter what I do
I can't imagine not making it to heaven
I can't imagine living without you
I can't imagine turning on you
I can't imagine not being able to hug you

My addicting sin consumes me
I don't understand why I keep on doing wrong
when I don't deserve the love you give
A love that can't be found anywhere else
I confess to you, I want to walk in truth
be a strong person for your will
I want to feel your spirit wash over me
I feel so guilty, look at how you died for me
this is so true. i cannot understand why God keeps on loving me when i sin so much!! i am so happy that he is always there for me. i really love your poems about God...it makes me happy to find someone here that writes poems like these! keep writing ok!

Wow, this one was really beautiful. It's so amazing that regardless of the wrongs i commit, no matter how awful they seem to me, He is always there to forgive me. You captured the things i couldn't put into words. Keep it up!!
