Caeruleus

Said the waves unto the sea,
I'll always carry thee,
and show my signs of grief,
as scars upon the beach.

Said the waves unto the shore,
how can I offer anymore?
You take all that is me,
and leave what you don't need.

Incomplete.

Said the tide unto the sea,
it's the moon that moves me,
a dim reflected love,
of something incomplete.

Said the tide unto the coast,
it's you I miss the most,
the breeze, she sings so sweetly,
but she whispers like a ghost.

Over me.

Said the father to his son,
I forgive all that you've done,
you can rest your weary legs,
you're no longer on the run.

Said the boy unto his heart,
it's time now to depart,
you are now the line,
where the ocean meets the sky.

Complete.
