Sometimes when you're talking to me,

I don't hear what you're saying,

I get too caught up in how beautiful your voice sounds,

Or how soft your lips must feel at the moment,

Sometimes I think stories of how wonderful it feels to melt,

On your hearth-like skin,

I think how much of a dream life it would be to wake up next to you every day,

Sometimes I thank God for meeting you,

And that I wasn't stupid enough to let you pass me by,

Because you truly are a good thing,

That's why I might say sorry when I lose track of what you say,

I'm daydreaming before the dream.
