My heart yearns

My soul burns

And I ache for you



Though I spy

With wandering eye

I never lie

And still I cry



I sit & think of you & sigh...

I don't want to die,

Without it being you & I,

Together, Forever

Side by side



My heart aches,

Like earthquakes,

I get the shakes,

When I think of you.



You give me the chills...

In a good way...

Better than any pills...

And my heart spills

Upon the floor,

When I see you at the door.



I thought you were my knight,

I was wrong, the day's not so bright.

Though I pray with all my might,

It just seems to be out of sight.

So I continue to cry as I say good-night.
