I feel so lonely right now,

I wish you were here with me..

I wish you could know somehow..

I wish that you could see..

These tears I'm crying now,

Wait to be dried by you..

I feel like my soul is dying..

I need you to hold me too.

I wish you could tell me again,

Just how much you care..

I wish you were here beside me..

I wish you were here and not there.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Although this poem applies to the feeling I get from being away from anyone I've ever loved, This poem was orignially written about one particular person..someone I was slightly infatuated with in the tenth grade. When I wrote this poem, my parents had grounded me, and I was sitting, locked in my room.. wishing this person were there. That's where this poem came from.
