would you tell me if I asked

Folder:
My trashcan poetry

gazing beyond the moon's outstretched arms
It used to be so simple to say I'd love someone
until I did
does your heart skip a beat an pause
then drum fast
would you tell me if I asked

That is just too too

That is just too too sweet.

Does your heart pitter-patter

At the sound of her name?

And at the same time,

Does it remind you of the rain?

The one before, so long ago,

That even now,

The tears, they flow?

Do palms become clammy?

Does it feel like a double whammy?

Are the chills reminiscent of ice

That left images not so nice?

And if her love is true,

How will she know this of you?

Will she read your heart,

Like a book from finish to start?

Will she have a crystal ball?

I don't think so...

...not at all.

Communication may be the key,

Maybe try it...and you'll see.

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

If She did it wouldn't  matter I have to learn everything the hard way ...lol
