The Unseen Eyes (Darfur)

The wind passes across my face,

as you walk right on by.

Your smiling and laughing,

but can you see my eyes?

Your living your life happy there

but I really need your care

It is me behind the shadows

giving you the cold death stare

Why don't you stop and look at me

Your eyes are not the only ones that see

my hand is out , but its hard to reach

It is only your help that I do seek

I guess I'll keep on waiting,

and hoping the world stops its hating

Until then , don't forget my eyes

Or the the broken world's lies

Although It isn't likely for me to survive

I'm just glad that your still alive

please sir , don't forget my eyes

Very good... pretty heavy subject, but you don't do half bad. Quite well done.
