The Brighter side of the shadow
To see nature in all it's beauty you must realize you are part of what makes nature whole
The lightning and grey clouds just as much a beauty as a flower in the fields.
The tide beats against the beach and the sand drifts away,
like my soul starts to drift away grain by grain from wave after wave of life that has beat down upon it.
You can focus on the beauty or the pain
or the beauty in pain,
or even the pain in beauty.
I've tried to live as part of nature,
but lately I've been on the outside wanting to be in
I'm two faced but you might not know it.
I'm hiding the real me within
You only see the brighter side of the shadow
it's not because it's all I can think you can handle
it's because it's all ican bare to show.
