Fat With Sense

My head is fat with sense

Greasy with heavy thoughts

Aching like a smashed toe

Sagging like a rotten wooden floor

I long to be giddy

But I forgot the process

Used to manufature false happiness

So I lie down hoping for dreams

To purge this rancid mood

Nice. Saw it on Random Poems. I like it.

This piece had the word "saturate" in my head for some reason or when someone feels "gross" or just plain "blah"... This was in my head at the time of the reading. Then my pentium mind began its slow sluggish process. Were they imploding thoughts?

Though different, the word 'Fat' reminded me of my "over the hill i'd roll" poems.
