If I were a page in a book

Would you dogear me?

And return to me again

Or would I be dull

And you only skim me?

Wondering if you should bother

To read me at all

But how do I get you to see me?

For like leaves people are all the same

Could I bump up my type?

Or would that be tacky?

Why not change my font

To one so hard to read

That you reread me several times

Though my words are tiny

I'll just be me

You might just see their beauty

And come back

For more than a perfunctory glance
