I don’t want to be here,

I don’t want to try,

I don’t care about life,

Or the serene blue sky.

I don’t care if you love me,

I know that hurts you to hear,

I know that you worry,

But my passage is clear,

I want to fade into darkness,

Into nothing at all,

I don’t want enslavement,

To be at beck and call,

The world may miss me.

But that’s okay,

Because they will forget,

As the days fade away,

I’m not happy here,

This world isn’t enough,

I don’t want to fight it,

I’m one to be tough,

I just want peace,

Tranquillity in the deep.

I know that you will mourn,

I know that you will weep,

Don’t cry for me,

Just remember my smile.

You’ll be okay you know,

Though it may take a while,

Goodbye all my loved ones,

Goodbye those who love me,

I chose my destiny,

Perhaps I’ll see you above.
