Under that veil of truth

staring at the stars

and just holding you

and we'll share that special moment

we've been dreaming of

that simple yet complicated thing

that they call love

and i'll jump into your arms

and smile tonight

as we walk on the beach

under the moonlight

and i know that its true

that i love you

i know i've cried so many times

i know i've said things

i was running away

but i've looked into my heart

and it tells me know lies

i can tell when i look into your eyes

when i feel your gentle touch

and you sweep me off my feet

i just know we're meant to be
