Distant Lovers

Collaborations

Soft eyes gaze into tomorrow, searching for

A prelude to a chance meeting

With the wonder that love can exist

That youth can be eternal

That strangers can become we

...Attraction found only through words

Never seen in face to face encounters

Parallel poetic veneration makes affection form

This could be real...

Thoughts run through my soul like liquid

Streams running toward an ocean of desire

Fulfilment frastrations hopes dreams fantasies

That strangers can become we

...We close our eyes and imagine togetherness

Two opposite sides become mutual

And we bond through our rendezvous

We’ve been in love from a distance

And now I finally have you...

I have entered your soul

And touched your being

No longer strangers

Now bonded by our freedom

Chained to our desires

You and I have become we

...My eyes are finally opened to your presence

Your beauty replaces the way I have missed you

No more torture

No more agony

No longer do I have to live without your existence

You are mine

Finally

This void has been filled

No longer loving you from a distance
