Heavenly Storm

Did you ever really stop and wonder
what makes the sound that we call thunder.
Maybe it's God, clapping his hands
or maybe his angels, doing a dance.

What causes rain, do we really know.
I think God's watering his plants so they'll grow
or maybe his angels, like you and like me
like playing in the sprinklers, to have fun and be free.

When you see lightning, flashing so bright
It's probably God, testing his lights
Or maybe his angels, just to have fun
turn on their flashlights, one by one.

So the next time a storm comes your way
just remember what i had to say.
God and his angels like to have fun,
even on days when there is no sun.

Thank you

Thank you very much! Always nice to know someone enjoys the poetry you write. I don't have a lot of time to write, have so many other things to keep up with. I do enjoy it when I have the time!
