stirring up controversy,

and the keyboard warriors

who love spreading hate.

 

They assume our worst,

and people like you don't 

help...

 

The random social media

creeps who suggest,

and even proposition for

sex.

 

Your nastiness only

hurts,

and condemns us all

to their lewd

assumptions.

 

And you've left us all

doomed...

 

The L,

The G,

The B

The T,

and the Q.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

It gets harder and harder on those of us in the community to prove that we're not a threat to anyone especially when we are diluted with false friendships and random messages from sick f***ers trying to proposition us.

I wish statements like

I wish statements like this---both reasonable and uncompromisingly assertive---had existed when I was an adolescent.  I would have felt less alone with my given nature.
