Apples of a Tree

You and me are apples from the same tree.

Full of anger wanting to release

Fighting to keep it decreased.

Our own emotions we sometimes ignore

This causes us to become very torn.

To the ones we love and morn

The fact is you have fallen from the tree

All these people are here to pick you up, including me

Your MOM is here with all of her love

Even as she takes a push or shove

Like the very first day you opened your eyes

She is here at your bedside.

She is here too the LOVE OF YOUR LIFE

You’re soon to be wife.

You know of who I speak she love you more than herself

She puts herself on the line to cover up the filth.

She is in my hands as she struggles to pay the bills.

I will keep her safe even if it kills.

Your sister is here with all of her toys

She swears that she will protect her baby boy.

She will do anything she can for you

And this I know is true.

Believe me when I say she keeps us going

Even when the road starts slowing.

I am here to looking into your eyes

Remembering when our friendship began to fly.

You know you are the only one that can make me cry

I hold deep my emotions but for this I can’t even try.

I close my eyes and see fear that I will loose you

In my heart I know you will be ok

Because you will prove me wrong like you do each and everyday.

Jeff is here too, and when I was not around

And you fell he was there picking you off the ground.

You and him share something I don’t even know

But he is here for you and to you this he will show.

As my Mom says we have been the Three Musketeers for 3 years

It’s all we can do to keep from crying cause we know you ain’t dying.

Aunts and Uncles are there for you

Grandparents and cousins are there for you

Friends and family are there for you

Friends of friends are there for you

This I tell you is all true

We all await when you wake from where you lay

and say “HEY”

As among ourself we might fight

we are all here for your sight

for you we care

and to see you we will share

even it at our emotions it might tare

Now we are all here to lift you up into the tree

And the rest of your life we will wait and see.

scott,
I want to tell you that this is a very beautiful poem and that when he does awaken you will also. In a sence that part of you in someway was taken dorment when it happened. even thought I do not know him i wish i did, this poem shows a hekping hand to those who may think that they have no one to help them on their way, but also gives a little something more. there is nothing wrong with this poem this one was written for you all.
