+ 27.225 MHz: At About Noon On The First PASCHA
Dawn rose, glowing over Jerusalem---
the empty streets, closed shops, and quiet homes;
just as it did on Antioch's and Rome's.
But we have knowledge that would startle them,
and will, someday, startle the whole empire:
early, today, amid the darkest gloom
a dead man rose out of a sealed tomb.
His Name is Jesus---Son of God, the Christ,
the Lamb of God willingly sacrificed
upon a cross to save us from our sin.
His death redeemed us to the risen life,
such that we are truly His born again.
The peace He gives us will silence all strife.
The joy of faith will answer all desire.
Salvation is ours, He said, by believing.
Rejoice now in the hope we are receiving.
