Union City

Another day gone fast to resting

And the flowers have taken to rairety

The clouds have found a home above our heads

Seldom, have I seen sunshine these past few weeks

With my collar up, I focus only on the morning to come

As of now, I'll drink to drowning in the cold southern rain

that has blessed me with sickness

Fatigue and impatience will not champion over me

To the factory, I pay my hours in exchange for nikels and dimes

So I may live one more night

One more night of wet blacktops

and one more day, ...one more day of grey in Union City

I really like this gloomy description! I think we all have these days of poor feelings once in a while! Nicely done!
