the middle child of three
A lot of times, nobody seems to see me.
They don't seem to notice They don't seem to care.
That I am even there.
What I am about
What do I do?
I am who?
They dont have a clue
What am I interested in? A game they cant win.
Why
Where do I like to go? They don't know.
They pay attention to the other two.
He's the star, hes going far.
Shes cute, as a fruit.

Lmao... not laughing at the poem, but at myself. Yes. A great write here and so prevalent about "middle child syndrome". It definitely feels this way growing up. And I would add, the middle child is often the one who creates so much drama whilst trying to make everyone happy. It's so true!! If you haven't read on it, read about "birth order" theory. It's really interesting and helps you understand a lot about your dynamic with your family and how to not let it interfere with your own life path. -peace-
