WAITRESS

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

Her job is not a thrill. But, she has to pay the bills.
Always on her feet, never gets to take a seat. A job that's not neat.
She never gets to take a break, her feet, ache.,
She cannot make mistakes..
Sometimes people put tips in a jar, not getting very far.
She has to work every day, very little pay, way overtime. It's not fine.
She is not going a long way
She must keep a friendly smile, all the while.
There's a tip jar, but she's not goong far.
She works all night, not a delight
This is her life, never will she see, be a wife, all alone, all she does is work and home.
The hours are long. She has to be strong. Long are the hours. Her boss has all the power
He, see, constantly tells her what to do. It makes her blue.
