LOVE IS AISLE 5

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

The aisle of frozen food and ice cream.
You, better than a dream.
This boy almost did scream
A scream of joy

Love in aisle 5.

You gave me a smile across the aisle. You wanted to talk awhile.
You, in the middle of your shop. You did stop.
You were almost at the end. You wanted to make a new friend.
You liked the food I did select, perfect.
You stopped the cart. You a piece of art.
You, wanted to give me see, a piece of your heart.

Love in aisle 5.

You wanted to talk to me.
You wanted to walk with me.
You did not want to be alone see.
You wanted to go home with me.

Is rhyming your thing?

perhaps love at isle 4 is better. I don't know. This seems a bit messy to me, with the rhymes all over the place. There should always be some sort of order I think. The idea is not bad, but perhaps it needs a bit more work.

I'm always lying, in fact, I'm lying to you right now.
