AFTER THE RAIN
There was the sun. It was so much fun.
It was all gone.
There was no longer dark night.
It was a bright, light, dawn.
The clouds did part.
It was easier on my heart.
There were no more clouds. When had been loud, was soft.
There was no more pain.
I see the sunshine coming out from
behind a cloud.
It screams so loud.
I see the end of the rain.
The end of the pain.
I see the rainbow so bright.
I watch with my eye, as it spreads across the sky.
It turns night into day. I can go outside and play.
