REFLECTIONS ON WHEEL OF FORTUNE

Folder:
ABSTRACT POEMS

              1.

          GOING TO THE SHOW

Wow, there are a lot of stops on this train.

Am I going to be late?  Not going to get there, at this rate.

           I'm going to hate.

          Cars-see cars poem,

Chicago, IL, boy would I love to go there.

             2. STORES AT THE MALL/LINE

Forever 21, forever in this line

          Express, not going anywhere.

At least, two of the women in front of me, see, are pretty.  One does teach.  Pretty as a peach in a tree, see.

She's out of reach.  She's so cute, as cute as a fruit.

I bet, just as sweet, neat, treat.

She's fine, I wish she was mine

     3. WHEEL STAFF MEMBERS

It must be interesting,

travel all around the country for Wheel.

I wonder if they feel lost, never found.

          I wonder how they feel.

Money, I wonder how much get

The host gets more, I bet.

They all aspire to the top, a dream.

      That's their scheme.

The host, money most, star, come so far, tv, see

Yep, to be Pat or the producer, that's that.

         4. THE LINE

           This line going to move.

I need help with my form.

Here we go, we're walking.  Now we're talking.

Where we going?  I hate this not knowing,

          5. THE SHOW

          This is a big crowd.

All these people.  Did'nt realize there were so many.

         Wow, is it loud.

This is fun.  I'll hate fot it to be done.

I was not picked.

          6. EPILOGUE

              I did try out.

It makes me scream and shout.

A lot of other people did too.

They have more people than spaces.

People who come from all different places.

        That makes me blue.  True.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I tried out for Wheel of Fortune when it came to Boston.
These poems within a poem are reflections on that.
