                    TERESA

I threw the dishes on the floor.

                     They made such a roar.

                   That, nobody could ignore.

Everybody for miles around, heard that big crashing sound.

Everybody for miles knew I was alone in my home, and that there were no smiles.

              My husband did'nt understand.

Of him, I've had just about enough.

This life was just so tough.

Duane was my husband for years and years.

He was a pain, and at times, really drove me insane.

            Now, I have another Duane,

as soft as the spring rain.

as romantic as a ride by train.

               There's also Bret.

              He really gets me wet.

          We kissed and we hugged.

I, with him, feel like a bug in a rug.

He takes my hand.  He really does understand.

One of the nicest guys I have ever met.

Duane and Bret, for me, see, compete.

       Contest to see who's best.

    Cruz. win or lose.

I think it is really neat.

              It is a real treat.

               It is a game.

I can sit back see.  It's better than TV.

Some family and friends came to my home, see.

                  They came to bother me.

                  And, they do, no end.

Me, see, they break, and bend.

I told them to get out of my home, leave me alone.

I told them to leave my space, my place.

If, bothering me they did not cease,

                  I would call the police.

If they did'nt stop, I'd call the cops.
