NO PHONE

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

I can't call you on the phone.

          I feel all alone.

No telephone line.  It's not fine.

There is no telephone, where you are.

So far apart, we are.  It's so hard on a heart.

There is something we can do, my dear.  There's something I can start.

We can write a letter.  We can feel better.

We can put it into the mail, we can never fail.
