I'M MOVING ON

COUNTRY POEMS

                      I'M MOVING ON

You said you I'd never get over.

You said it would be true; I would be blue.

You said I'd be knocking on your door.

That you, I could not ignore.

Without you, I would be done, my Life would'nt be fun.

There could not be a new start; as you stabbed me in

              the heart.

I'm moving on.  I'm moving on.

All thoughts, in my head, in bed every night.

                  I would have a fright.

                  It would be a nightmare.

Worse than spending all my money at the county fair.

I'm moving on.  I'm moving on.

I'm moving on.  The darkness turning to dawn.

I'm over the pain.  I'm over the rain.

Here comes the sun.  My life will be fun.

I'm moving on.  I'm moving on.

I'm doing fine.  I'm walking the line.

             I'm really healing.  revealing, ceiling.

he knife, in my heart, the life, anew beginning to start.

You were wrong.  I'm singing a new song.

I'm moving on.  I'm moving on.

I'm moving on.  I'm moving on.
