I'M DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY II

This interstate's not great.  It's all the same.

  I can drive me insane.

There's no view.  It's true.  Never changes does the view.  It makes me blue.

State after state after state.  It's not great.

I watch down goes the sun.  Will this trip ever be done.  This is'nt fun.

snow i've gota go, through a hurricane of rain-insane

All these cities are not pretty,

All these states, are not great, cities look the same, insane.

All the days blend.  Will this trip ever end?

   Nothing for me to see.

  Day after day after day.

How long will it be before we play?

How long away from you, must I stay.

All this time's not fine.

  I'm driving down the highway.

    I'm driving down the highway.

When can I go home?  I feel all alone.

How long how far must I roam.

    Just driving down the highway.

     Yes, driving down the highway.

So hard to be so long gone, away from my wife.

It cuts into your heart like a knife.

I should find something else to do with my life.

I hate to be away from my honey.  I do need the money.
