I say that President Bush should both be impeached.



1. President Bush lied to Congress and to the American people about one of the reasons why a war in Iraq was necessary.  President Bush said Saddam Hussein was looking in Niger for enriched uranium.  This has been found not to be true.  He intentionally added false information to the case.

2. When a US citizen, Mark Wilson, also a US Ambassador attempted to use his First Amendment right to free speech, to disagree with the President, he was retaliated against.

3. The White House revealed that his wife was an undercover CIA agent.

4. In revealing the name of Valerie Plume, American National Security has been compromised.  As said on 60 Minutes, other countries, now have a lead into how the CIA operates.  In addition, the life of a former CIA agent has been destroyed.

5. Karl Rowe needs to be removed as well.  The President promised that he would be if he were found to be involved, and he has been.

6. Congress and the Legislative Branch is a seperate body from the President and the Executive Branch.  The entire system of checks and balances and seperation of powers is based on this.

Therefore, they should send a message that they are apart from the President by voting articles of impeachment.

7. Finally the Vice President could be impeached too.
