LET'S PRETEND WITH WINGS

Folder:
CHILDREN'S MUSEUM

Hey, in the spsce of play today, we have chicks.  OK?

        Do you want to stay?

        Where?  There.

They are really fun.  Please don't run.

Chicks have wings, with tissue paper, we can as well.

Then, we can pretend we do too.

Would you like to do that?  We can use this mat.

        With pleasure, you may yell.

        The fun will never end.

Our wings; we can hold them.  We can fold them.

Across the sky, we can fly. You know, we can spy on

        below.

Over the sea, me and you.  We will not be blue.

Past the sun.  Soon, the moon.

Past a star, we can fly, and really go far.

All you have to do is try.

On the ground, around, we can run.

Where do you want to go?

I know you will never say no.

The fun will never be done.

        You see,

you may wonder if it will ever be.

     How does a chicken feel?

     Yes, it is real.

Touching it is such a nice deal.

Don't have a fit, we may ask you to sit.

We may ask you to kneel.

     What about a feather?

Together, we can explore it, we can sit on the floor.

We can sit by the door.

It is ok if you are late.

You can sit by the gate.

It's too bad Heather is not here.

Always on feet, she was a sweet, sincere, dear.

Always on her toes, as sweet as a rose.

She will not be glad, but sad, to miss this.

With animals, she was good and understood.

Maybe after, you can look at a book.

     Maybe go to our nook.

Yes, you see, there is sure to be laughter.

You can even play with our farm set toy to no end.

Maybe let a new friend you just met too.

     Maybe even President Lou.

     You will not be blue.

There is no need to be coy.

     Want to try?

     Are you having fun?

You can let your imagination run.

You can let your imagination fly.
