YOU WERE ALWAYS MY MOM AND DAD

Folder:
ABSTRACT POEMS

          You made me happy.

        You made me sad.

         You made me mad.

            You made me glad.

             Through thick and through thin.

We lost and we did win.

We sank and we did swim.

Who is my dad, it's him.

We had good times and bad.

We got lost and we got found.

           We ran aground.

All the places, all the spaces.

All the places we did go.

Some near and some far.  Some by train and some by car.  Some by plane.  Some by boat.

      Insane.

All the memories.  All the stories.

You never did ignore me, see.

In the days of sun, in the days of fun.

In the days of rain, in the dayd of pain.

If we were at home, if we were away.

Whether it was day or night.  Whether it was dark or light.

If you were at work, or if you were at play.

         You took away my fears.

         You Wiped away my tears.
