ABSTRACT POEMS

    I pack the car.

I'm going to go far away from home.

    I'm going to be alone.

    I can't believe I'm here.

    Driving through the Connecticut state,

Then through RI.  I look up in the sky and

    I ask why.

Why would they accept somebody like me.

   I can't believe I'm here.

Driving up 95, I really feeling alive.

   I'm getting close to Boston.

This is going to be fun.

   I can't believe I'm here.

   I walk through the gates.

   It is really great.

I see the ivy on the walls.

I just stare at it all.

   I'm really there.

   I can't believe I'm here.

The thing I wanted to do,

   for my life whole.

   I have accomplished my goal.

   I can't believe I'm here.

   I can't believe I'm here.

   I can't believe I'm here.
