ZOOBOOKS LETTER REGARDING BISON

Dear Editor,

I will say that Zoobooks is a great magazine, a magazine that introduces children to a variety of animals.  In addition, Zoobooks bills itself as a great and interesting magazine that parents can use to help children learn to read.  Also, Zoobooks bills itself as a great and interesting magazine that teachers can use to help children learn to read.  The magazine can also be used to teach children about a variety of different animals.

So, having said that, I was disturbed to discover that there is no mention of the bison in any issues of the magazine.  How can Zoobooks leave the bison out?

The bison is a great and impressive animal.  The bison played a key role in the development of the American West.  Also, the bison has been hunted nearly to extinction.  Yes, those are the negative sides.  However, a magazine such as Zoobooks needs to show both sides of the story.  Finally, it is good that bison can be found in protected areas today such as Yellowstone National Park.

So, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read and consider my letter.  I hope to see bison included in a future issue of Zoobooks.

  Sincerely,

  Chris
