TRUCK DRIVER

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

      I am a truck driver.

      I drive a big 18-wheeler for a company.

It's not bad, I get a nice high view of the highway.

One of the highways of The Interstate Highway System.

      I can see for miles.

I get a nice bed and a TV.

I like to spend my money on a motel.

A nice bed, a shower, TV, and room.

Motel 6, Super 8, Whats with these numbers?

   Days Inn, Ramada.

Yeah, yeah. I'm a truck driver.

Yeah, yeah, I'm a truck driver.

     Arcades, video games, carnivals.

    I love playing the midway.

    I love playing the games.

A guy bet me $20 he could beat me at a truck driving game.

  18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker.

  I won.

The guy did not know what I did for a living.

The guy wanted a rematch for another $20.

  I won again.

He found out what I do for a living.

Yeah, yeah, I'm a truck driver.

Yeah, yeah, I'm a truck driver.

      Food.  Burger King, Wendy's, McDonalds,

      I need to eat.

Highways.  Driving all day, driving all night.

Driving, driving, driving, driving, driving, driving.

Country radio songs talk of love lost, found, lost found.

Advice show callers ask about finding love, blinded by love,

binded by love.

Yeah, yeah, I'm a truck driver.

Yeah, Yeah, I'm a truck driver.

Seeing this country or at least the part that can be seen from

  The Interstate Highway System.

Yeah, yeah, I'm a truck driver.

Yeah, yeah, I'm a truck driver.
