CAPE COD

The smell of the ocean.  The smell of the lotion.

          The smell of the mud.

The smell and the sound of the sea.

The feel of the sand in your hand.

Unless, you've been there, you can't understand.

          The beach and the ocean.

          It's all so pretty.

I go there to be out of reach of the city commotion.

It all seems to go on for miles and miles.

          As do the people's smiles.

Cape Cod is indeed beautiful, I lived on the cape years back but one thing you don't mention is there's no jobs to be had after summer season is done and tourists go home. I know this first hand because I lived in Dennisport for almost a year..
