Mental Case

Feel the black cloud closing in

eating me up from within

Feel the inviting hand of death

losing sanity with every breath

I did not ask to have this curse

resurrect the pain

and make it worse

I did not ask to feel this strife

tired of losing the battle with life

A cloudbreak doesn't last all day

it will pass, in time, and float away

Always following up close behind

is the sickness I carry in my mind

I did not ask to have this curse

resurrect the pain

and make it worse

What chaos hides inside this shell?

That is something, I fear,

only the madness will tell.

I totally understand this well....As you probably don't know I have been struggling myself through some issues of this sort. Keep in touch..
