Crows

The crows leave no sign of love
Flying away with a prey so gently
Forgetting the time of their hasty departure
Emotionless bones compose their structure

I watched them landing on the fence
Thought of the thoughts they mustered
Questioned the witty plans of this eerie creature
I watched them disappear behind the suns rays

I quickly forgot of this unpretentious moment
Read a book of nothing worth sharing
Took a short nap
My life carried on
As if the crows had never met my eyes
My life carried on
