I have been writing for a long time. I love words. In life I use so many, but now in poems I find that simple often carries better the meaning.

About My Navel

What do you say about something you always have but never look at?
It's there, a relic of my live birth
and the proof that I am flesh and bone like any other animal.
It pains me to say I have no special feelings
about my navel.
