Thunderstorm

In times of gloom and sorrow

When you drift upon a heavy stream

While darkness tortures woeful souls

Developing like one dark dream

A thunderstorm across your whole

Seems there is no one around

To enfold you in soothing rest

And to heal your bleeding wounds

In times of haunting grief

When thorns punish your sense's core

Bleeding tears flow from innermost

Then know that I will ease your sores

Wrap you in my healing wings

Tightly against my chest

Know that I fly with you

Understand that you've been blest

Don't be afraid in these colorless hours

'Cause I'm watching over you

Guard your path with sacred wings

Sheltering you in days of blue

I found this, comforting!
